About the Role:
As a Logistics Scheduler at Lowes Petroleum Service, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily delivery of fuel from terminals to both customer locations and company sites. Based at our Townsville Depot, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our fleet.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can optimise delivery schedules, maximise fleet utilisation, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance. Your ability to manage time critical tasks and communicate effectively will directly support our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:
•
Coordinate day-to-day scheduling of bulk fuel deliveries from terminals to customer and company sites across Townsville and surrounding regions
•
Maximise fleet efficiency by planning optimal delivery routes, scheduling drivers, and minimising operating costs
•
Accurately enter delivery schedules and details into the Lowes database in line with NHVR and compliance requirements
•
Liaise daily with company drivers, customers, and transport subcontractors to ensure clear communication and timely delivery updates
•
Assist with depot operations including trip processing, dispatch coordination, and general administrative support
•
Monitor fuel tank levels remotely across various service sites to maintain supply continuity
•
Ensure customer service standards are met or exceeded through efficient planning and responsiveness
•
Coordinate truck servicing schedules and maintenance bookings to minimise downtime
•
Manage driver rosters and timesheets, ensuring compliance with fatigue and work hour regulations
•
Provide hands-on support to overall depot operations as required
About You:
•
Minimum 2 years experience in a scheduling, transport coordination or logistics role
•
Strong understanding of Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) principles and national heavy vehicle regulatory requirements
•
BFM Certificate highly regarded
•
Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances while making effective decisions
•
Strong critical thinking skills with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving
•
Able to work independently with strong time management and prioritisation skills
•
Background in transport or logistics operations preferred
•
Operational experience within a depot or dispatch environment is an advantage
•
Competent computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Excel and navigate spreadsheets confidently
