About the Role
Our Work Employment Services team supports people with disability to achieve meaningful employment aligned to their NDIS goals.
As a Commercial Quality Coordinator, you will partner with the Commercial Quality Lead to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across our Oakleigh and Kew sites.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organisational requirements

Conduct quality assurance tasks and monitor food safety and quality performance, including but not limited to: Timely completion of verification schedule tasks, participate in internal audits, maintain the multi-disciplinary food safety and customer standards.

Support internal and external audits across WHS, Environmental, and Quality domains

Lead food safety culture and support the implementation of quality protocols

Assist in commercial customer queries, new product trial processes. Address customer concerns or complaints and coordinate in resolving food safety & quality‑related issues

Support continuous improvement by implementing audit recommendations and process enhancements
About You
You will ideally bring:

A tertiary qualification and/or industry certification in Food Quality Assurance (highly desirable)

2+ years of industry experience in quality systems or compliance

Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and HACCP principles

Understanding of food safety & quality standards and regulations, ideally including HACCP, SQF, WQA, Kosher, Halal, Australian Certified Organic and Standard Code.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage documentation efficiently
