You are a registered nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional standards and safe, effective clinical practice. You bring well-developed nursing skills, knowledge, and clinical capability relevant to both outpatient and acute hospital settings, enabling you to provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of clinical environments.
You consistently apply sound clinical judgement and problem-solving skills to optimise patient outcomes, responding effectively to changing patient needs and complex care situations. Your ability to assess, prioritise, and implement appropriate interventions supports the delivery of safe and efficient care at all times.
You communicate effectively within the clinical environment, utilising information technology systems alongside clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. This ensures accurate documentation, effective handover, and strong collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues.
You are capable of planning and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a collaborative approach that focuses on achieving measurable, outcome-based patient goals. Your teamwork and organisational skills support continuity of care and enhance overall service delivery.
You demonstrate flexibility and professionalism through your willingness to participate in a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and night duty, ensuring consistent patient care and service coverage across all shifts.
Experience in oncology, haematology, or radiation oncology nursing is highly desired; however, it is not essential. We will teach you everything you need to succeed in these specialty areas, and you will be fully supported to develop confidence and capability through structured education, clinical guidance, and ongoing mentorship.
