As our new Production & Warehouse Supervisor, you will be directing and coordinating production, warehouse, and support operations to deliver quality products at optimal cost — while developing your team and stepping up as the primary backup for the Production & Warehouse Manager.
As a key part of the Grundfos Pumps Australia (GPA) & New Zealand (GNZ) Assembly & Warehouse Operations team, you'll create impact by Leading a multi-skilled workforce to achieve operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement while shaping a culture of zero harm and employee engagement.
Your main responsibilities include:

Direct daily production, inbound, outbound, and material line feeding operations, driving improvements in productivity, quality, and inventory accuracy

Champion a zero-harm, safety-first culture by positively influencing team behaviors and maintaining compliance with regulatory, legal, and ISO quality standards

Develop and coach a multi-skilled, flexible workforce through structured training, shift planning, and performance management to maximize resource utilization
-
Define strategy and deliver on SQDICP targets — safety, quality, delivery, continuous improvement, conversion costs, and budget — across production and warehouse

Drive continuous improvement and zero-defect initiatives through employee engagement, 5S leadership, and Lean methodologies

Act as designated backup for the GPA/GNZ Production & Warehouse Manager, providing leadership oversight, managing escalations, and sustaining operational continuity
Above all, you are a proactive manufacturing leader with strong people management skills, Lean mindset, and the operational breadth to oversee both production and warehouse functions in a fast-paced environment. We would also imagine that you have:

Bachelor's Degree in mechatronics, mechanical, or electronics engineering — or 8-10 years equivalent experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics

Proven frontline team management experience in a production or warehouse environment

Proficiency in SAP and warehouse management systems (WMS)

Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, ISO quality systems, and safety management
It is a plus if you also:

Product knowledge of the Grundfos range or similar pump/flow technology products

Experience leading continuous improvement projects and driving cultural change

Familiarity with direct labor cost calculation and budget management
