OpenWisdom Education is an established Year 7–12 tuition centre with over 10 years of experience supporting more than 1,000 students across Hurstville and Burwood. We specialise in delivering personalised 1:1 and small group lessons designed to help students achieve consistent, measurable academic progress. ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified tutors to join our growing team. Successful candidates will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to Year 7–12 students across one or more HSC subjects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
─────────────────────────────────────
- Deliver weekly 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions
- Plan and prepare lessons aligned to individual student needs and the NSW curriculum
- Monitor and document student progress and engagement
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and contribute to shared educational resources

SELECTION CRITERIA
─────────────────────────────────────
Essential:
- Currently studying a postgraduate degree or graduated from an Education or related field (Engineering, Science, Mathematics, ect.)
- Minimum 2 year of tutoring or formal teaching experience
- Strong subject matter knowledge across one or more HSC subjects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Punctual, well-organised, and adaptable
- Patient, empathetic, and professionally resilient
- Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Authorised to work in Australia
Highly Regarded:
- Currently studying Masters of Education degree or full-time or casual teacher
- Ability to teach across multiple HSC subjects
- Current Driver Licence
