In the role of Senior Program Advisor, you will provide strategic advice and support to the Manager (Finance), Director (Technical Services), the Chief Engineer (E&T) and branch leadership team on financial issues. The AO6 Senior Program Advisor is responsible for providing essential assurance over program and project budgets, contract performance, and payment accuracy, supporting timely delivery and value for money outcomes. Mandatory requirements:
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Highly desirable requirements:
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Experience in SAP, Excel, PowerBI and other data analysis and reporting tools will also be well regarded. Requirements of the role:
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting and/or management accounting.
- Demonstrated experience in using financial systems including SAP and Excel for reporting, analysis and process improvement.
- A team player with demonstrated communications skills with various level stakeholders.
