Details: The Health and Community Services Directorate (HCSD) Records Management Unit seeks a motivated professional to support high-quality records and information management services. This role combines practical expertise with policy development and implementation.
Working under limited direction, you will assist the Records Manager to embed best practice and strengthen information management culture. You will support the Records Management Program, focusing on digital transformation and modern, digital-first practices.
Responsibilities include developing policies, procedures and guidance, identifying improvements, ensuring compliance with the Territory Records Act 2002, and providing advice and training on EDRMS.
You will also supervise staff, coordinate service delivery, meet performance targets, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive consistent, effective records management practices aligned with ACTPS values.

Eligibility/Other requirements: The role requires demonstrated experience in Content Manager administration. It also involves manual handling of physical files, including lifting, carrying, and retrieving records from the compactus shelving in confined spaces. The position further requires managing confidential information with a high degree of discretion, along with the ability to handle records that may contain sensitive and/or potentially distressing content.
