Who we're looking for:
Multiplex is seeking Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers to join our project delivery teams in Western Australia.
Working on major building projects, you will be responsible for coordinating design, engineering and construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, to quality standards and within budget. These roles provide a critical link between design, building services, subcontractors, and project delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have delivered large-scale Tier 1 building construction projects e.g. large scale mixed use commerical, hospitals, data centres, and experience working within live operational environments including airport and aviation projects, will be highly regarded.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will take a leading role in technical coordination, consultant management and project delivery. You will chair design coordination meetings, manage key stakeholder relationships, mentor junior team members and contribute to project management decisions.
You will have:
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale Tier 1 building construction projects
- Demonstrated experience leading design coordination activities and consultant management
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management capability
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers, graduates or site teams
- Sound knowledge of design, procurement, construction methodology and project delivery
- Strong commercial and financial acumen within a construction environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Building or a related discipline.
As a Project Engineer, you will support the technical coordination of construction projects through design management, planning, procurement and construction delivery. You will work closely with project managers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure design and construction activities are coordinated and delivered effectively.
You will have:
- Experience delivering commercial building projects with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction delivery processes
- Experience coordinating design, services and subcontractor interfaces
- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, procurement and estimating principles
- Ability to work collaboratively across project teams to achieve programme objectives
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Building or a related discipline.
