The Role
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Casual Bar & Gaming Attendant to join our team. This role involves working day and evening shifts, including shifts worked independently, and requires a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing friendly, efficient bar service to members and guests
- Operating gaming machines in line with NSW gaming regulations
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol and gaming at all times
- Opening and closing the venue when working solo shifts
- Cash handling, EFTPOS operation, and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the bar, gaming, and common areas
- Monitoring patron behaviour and managing situations calmly and professionally
- Assisting with basic food service and function service when required
- Adhering to club policies, procedures, and WHS requirements
Essential Requirements
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- Current RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling)
- Ability and confidence to work alone during shifts, including evenings
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous experience in a bar, club, or hospitality venue
- Experience working with gaming machines
- Local knowledge of the Blue Mountains community

Availability
- Daytime, evening, and weekend availability required

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
