In this role you will:

Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team across the new and used car departments to achieve individual and dealership sales targets of 35-50 cars per month

Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise profitability and market share

Manage day-to-day operations of the sales department, including all valuations on site, reporting and administration and used car reconditioning
-
Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention
-
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth
-
Collaborate with marketing, finance, and service teams to enhance the overall customer experience
-
Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to build a strong and motivated team
-
Set a clear direction and vision for the business
-
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and manufacturer standards
A history of success in the luxury segment in Automotive in Australia is required to be considered for this role. This includes being at the very top of your field and an ability demonstrate the following:

Achieving and exceeding all major budget targets

Leading, developing and coaching staff including team building, driving high performance and achieving targets

Overseeing new cars, used car and the finance departments
-
Working as part of a larger dealership network and within an ASX Listed company

Achievement of KPI targets set by the company and the manufacturer

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and analytical capabilities

Commercially minded with a focus on customer experience and business growth
Skills and Experience:
-
Demonstrated experience in a General Sales Manager, Aftersales Manager or General Manager position with proven success in all key areas of responsibility.

Impeccable people management skills.

Thorough understanding of commercial and financial business management.

Ability to build mutually respectful & productive relationships with OEM brand partners
