About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Process Leading Hand to support day-to-day processing operations across grading, roasting, warehouse operations, and raw finished goods packing. This role plays an important part in driving production efficiency, maintaining product quality, supporting safety and compliance standards, and leading team performance across the site.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day processing activities across grading, roasting, warehouse and packing operations
- Support safe work practices and ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures
- Monitor product quality, labelling, traceability, and completion of required records
- Troubleshoot operational issues and assist with mechanical and technical repairs
- Drive production efficiency, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities and process optimisation
- Train, mentor and support team members across production areas
- Contribute to audits, operational meetings, HACCP, crisis, recall and related compliance activities
About you
- Experience in a similar leading hand, production, or manufacturing role
- Food industry experience or strong production/manufacturing experience
- Good understanding of production equipment and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Ability to lead, train and develop team members
- Sound organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Understanding of Australian WHS requirements
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Current driver’s licence
