Our client is a well-established residential builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality Class 2 developments across Sydney. With a growing pipeline of apartment, mixed-use and medium-density residential projects, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their expanding team.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of residential construction projects, ensuring costs, contracts and procurement activities are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, issuing and managing subcontract packages.
- Procurement of trades and suppliers.
- Assessing subcontractor variations and progress claims.
- Managing project budgets, cost reporting and forecasting.
- Preparing and administering subcontract agreements.
- Assisting with project programming and procurement schedules.
- Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks.
- Liaising with site teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients.
- Supporting the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to handover.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Previous experience as a Contracts Administrator within the construction industry.
- Experience delivering Class 2 residential, apartment or mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent commercial and financial management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors and project teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
