About You
You are a seasoned employment lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience & Expertise:
- Managing complex employment law matters, including advising on compliance with Work Health and Safety laws and anti-discrimination legislation
- Engaging with employment regulators, including the Fair Work Ombudsman and the Fair Work Commission
- Monitoring legislative changes and industry best practices, and recommending updates to policies and procedures
- Providing reliable BAU employment law support across the business
Your Skills & Attributes:
- Ability to distill complex legal information into clear, practical advice for stakeholders at all levels
- Strong influencing skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
- Comfortable managing external-facing issues and adapting to the evolving needs of the organisation
Requirements:
- Current Australian practising certificate
- Right to live and work in Australia
Please note: Payroll remediation experience is not required for this role.
