Join our Financial Counselling team to make a difference to Victorian renters experiencing rental stress.
- Full time and part time positions available
- SCHADS Level 5
- 12 Month contract to 30 June 2027
- Flexible Location - sites across South and East Victoria
Anglicare Victoria's Financial Counselling program aims to:
- Deliver high quality Financial Counselling through the provision of information, advice, practical assistance and advocacy intended to stabilise and improve the client’s financial situation.
- Support clients to navigate financial crisis, build financial wellbeing, capability and resilience.
- Support the recovery of Victorians impacted by Rental stress
- Facilitate referrals to other services and broader community support services to address client needs.
- To maintain contact with other service providers and agencies in order to promote integration of the service in the community and also to enable the development of best practice in the field.
- Diploma of Financial Counselling Qualification required.
- An understanding of the impact of environmental factors impacting financial independence on individuals, families and communities.
- Well-developed verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and also as part of a team.
- Demonstrated resilience to work with and support clients who have been exposed to trauma.
