We are building a strong team of resilient, professional male support workers capable of working with high-risk and high-needs participants in a trauma-informed and person-centred manner.
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Male Support Workers with backgrounds in:
- Security
- Corrections
- Youth justice
- Mental health
- Community services
- Hospital security
- Behaviour support
- Crisis response environments
This role is ideal for individuals who are confident managing:
- Complex behaviours
- Aggression and escalation
- Emotional dysregulation
- Community risk situations
- Participants with forensic histories
- High-pressure environments
You will support participants both in accommodation settings and out in the community while maintaining professional boundaries, safety awareness, and calm communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting participants with forensic and complex behavioural backgrounds
- Managing challenging situations using de-escalation techniques
- Assisting with daily living and community participation
- Supporting emotional regulation and behavioural goals
- Transporting participants to appointments and activities
- Completing professional incident reports and case notes
- Working collaboratively with allied health teams and coordinators
- Maintaining safety for participants, staff, and the community
Highly Regarded Experience

Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Strong written communication and incident reporting skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Availability for weekends, active nights, and emergency shifts where required

This role is NOT security work. While security and justice-related experience is highly regarded, all support must be delivered using a trauma-informed, person-centred, and recovery-focused approach aligned with NDIS standards.
