Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Civil Designer to join our team. As a Civil Designer, you will work closely with our team of engineers and designers to assist in the development and delivery of civil design plans for a range of civil construction projects. In particular, we are seeking applications from people with at least 12 months of experience designing land development projects in SEQ. The remuneration package will be tailored to suit the skills and experience of the preferred applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering drawings and plans using AutoCAD and 12d.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to contribute to the design and documentation process.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather relevant data and information.
- Participate in project meetings and provide support as required.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities for learning and professional development.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or drafting preferred (e.g. Associate Degree in Civil Engineering).
- At least 12 months of experience on land development projects in SEQ.
- Demonstrated design experience using AutoCAD and 12d software is a pre-requisite.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow personally and professionally.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- The right to work in Australia on a permanent basis. Unfortunately sponsorship is not offered at this time.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
