The Restaurant:
Open Thursday to Sunday, The Commons comprises of multiple hospitality venues catering to casual dining, formal dining and private events. Our calendar features a range of unique experiences and seasonal activations, including Bottomless Brunch with Malfy Gin, Bottomless Pasta, and Christmas in July, ensuring every visit offers something new and memorable. This makes the work feel more engaging and less repetitive for the team.
We also have exclusive restaurant collaborations with some of the world's leading chefs. These opportunities provide valuable exposure for the right candidates.
Your Role will Include:
- Working collaboratively in a high end, fast-paced environment with Front of House and Back of House teams to deliver smooth, well-executed service.
- Strong understanding of menu items and dietaries, and identify quality ingredients.
- Providing outstanding food and beverage service within the Restaurant.
- Always maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Previous supervisor experience preferred.
- Current Victorian RSA certificate.
- Deliver high-level customer service with confidence and professionalism.
- Immaculate presentation and a can-do attitude – our team brings the energy and vibe to events!
- Ability to carry 3 plates, any more is a welcome bonus (and we would like to see it!)
- Barista experience highly regarded.
