Shape the future of data-driven healthcare across NSW. As a Health Informatics Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of transforming complex health and financial data into meaningful insights that influence funding, performance and operational decision-making across the NSW Health system. Working alongside senior stakeholders, analytics specialists across MoH branches and health services, you will bridge business needs with innovative data and informatics solutions that deliver real-world value. What you will be doing

Partner with clinical, corporate and operational stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into practical analytics, reporting and health informatics solutions.

Provide advice on the appropriate use of health, financial and casemix data, helping stakeholders make informed and evidence-based decisions.

Support the design and delivery of reporting, data visualisation and analytical products that drive performance, funding and operational insights across NSW Health.

Assess data access and disclosure requests, ensuring compliance with privacy, security and data governance requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes and governance practices, contributing to more trusted and effective use of information.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

Experience in health informatics, data analytics, reporting or information governance within a large and complex organisation, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify insights and develop practical, business-focused solutions.

Demonstrated experience engaging with end users and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data and analytics solutions.

Knowledge of data governance, privacy, data access and disclosure requirements, with a commitment to compliant use of information.

Experience using business intelligence, reporting and data visualisation tools to support decision-making and improve business outcomes.
