About the role
Rosemont Hotel is under new management and looking for an highly experienced Venue Manager. Based in Adelaide CBD, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your operational expertise and passion for creating a venue that people love to visit.
What you'll be doing
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel across all departments, ensuring consistent delivery of a high-quality guest experience
- Lead, mentor and motivate a team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive, high-performance culture
- Drive revenue and profitability across food, beverage, gaming and entertainment offerings
- Ensure strict compliance with all liquor licensing, gaming regulations, RSA and workplace health and safety requirements
- Collaborate with department managers to align operations with the overall business strategy and venue vision
- Manage venue budgets, labour costs and stock control to maintain strong financial performance
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors and key stakeholders
- Oversee rostering, recruitment and performance management of venue staff
What we're looking for
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Venue Manager or in a similar senior hospitality leadership role
- Current RSA and RSG certifications, with a thorough understanding of South Australian liquor and gaming legislation
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multi-department teams in a fast-paced pub or hotel environment
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour and cost of goods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both staff and guests
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an outstanding venue experience
