The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Business Partner plays a key role in driving financial performance, operational insight and strategic decision-making across the Linley Valley Pork business unit. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, capital investment governance, fixed asset management, month- and year-end reporting, KPI analysis and operational finance support.
You will work closely with operations, supply chain, commercial and executive teams to ensure financial clarity, cost discipline and continuous improvement across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities

Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes, ensuring assumptions are robust, accurate and aligned with operational and commercial priorities.

Oversee month-end close activities including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and preparation of high-quality management accounts.

Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, manage fixed assets and complete post-implementation reviews to ensure strong financial governance and ROI.

Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, presenting insights that highlight risks, opportunities and performance improvement actions.

Partner with operational leaders to analyse production performance, yields, labour efficiency, waste and other key drivers to support continuous improvement.

Oversee stock valuations, reconciliations and cycle count governance across carcass, primals and value-added products.

Provide strategic and commercial financial support across the LVP value chain, enabling informed decision-making and long-term planning.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience in management accounting, financial analysis or business partnering within a manufacturing, FMCG or operational environment.

Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful insights.

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting and financial modelling.

Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across operations, supply chain and commercial teams.

High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality and continuous improvement.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) is highly regarded.
