About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Fulltime Chef to join our team at the "The Nile Grill and Kebabs" restaurant in Eaton WA 6232. As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our customers in a full-time role.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a range of dishes on our menu to the highest standards
- Ensuring all food preparation and cooking tasks are completed efficiently and to ourhigh-quality standards
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, safe and organised workenvironment
- Assisting with menu planning and development as required
- Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer requests in atimely manner
- Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Producing high-quality food at all times with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrating a hands-on work ethic, can-do attitude, and the ability to multitask
- Managing competing demands and performing well under pressure – strong time management is essential
- Ensuring smooth and organised kitchen operations during service
- Maintaining clear communication with the front-of-house team
- Being honest, reliable, positive, and dedicated to service excellence
- Working autonomously as well as part of a team
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Chef, preferably within the Hospitality & Tourism industry
- Strong knowledge of Chefs/Cooks practices and techniques
- Certificate or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Chef
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Food safety and hygiene certification
