Fern Dispensary is growing and looking for a motivated Pharmacist to join our team.
As a community-focused dispensary, building genuine relationships with patients is central to what we do. Our patients value taking the time to talk, ask questions, and feel supported in their care. We’re looking for a pharmacist who enjoys connecting with people, providing guidance, and creating a positive and reassuring experience for every patient.
What We’re Offering
- $60-$70 p/h
- Part time
- Will include one half day Saturday per week
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support dispensary technicians.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers.
- Provide patient medication education.
- Accurately dispense and supply medications in accordance with prescriptions and regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy standards.
- Manage stock ordering, inventory control (including Schedule 8 medicines), and reporting.
- Verify prescriptions in line with SAS-B, Authorised Prescriber documentation, and relevant State requirements.
- Maintain a safe, organised and clean dispensary environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor of Pharmacy with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacist, including familiarity with medicinal cannabis and patient support in alternative therapies.
- Strong clinical attention to detail and understanding of TGA / SAS-B protocols.
- Experience with FRED Dispense is highly regarded but not mandatory.
- Confidence building relationships with patients and providing guidance in a supportive, approachable way.
- A proactive, collaborative team player who is motivated to contribute to the growth and success of the business.
Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
