NW Mining & Civil are seeking highly motivated, passionate and capable people to join our team in the Mining and Construction industry in North West Queensland.
These roles will be offered on a full-time permanent basis working day Monday to Friday and shift 6.00am to 14.30pm
Salary range - $94,000 - $120,000
Electrical Technician
Responsibilities:
· Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment, including switches, transformers, generators and circuit breakers.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and repair electrical systems to ensure they work properly
· Assist Electrical Engineers in design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control systems
· Carry out electrical wiring installation and technical maintenance works
· Conducting routine safety inspections and maintenance
Skills and Experience required:
· Relevant Trade Certificate
· Minimum of 3 years of trade experience.
· Must be familiar with and use the correct PPE for each stage of operation.
· Be familiar and comfortable with the use of various painting equipment.
Attributes and qualities needed:
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
· Ensure that the finished product is of a high standard and meets the client’s approval.
· Reliable with good work ethics
Successful candidates will be required to undergo reference checks, police clearance, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
