We are seeking a reliable and positive Handyman / Maintenance Team Member to join our busy team at Great Eastern Motor Lodge. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and works well as part of a team.
You will assist with general maintenance duties across the property, helping ensure a safe, clean and well-presented environment for guests and staff.
Duties Include:
- General maintenance and basic repairs
- Touch ups and small fixes around the hotel
- Responding to maintenance requests from reception, housekeeping and management
- Bin runs and general upkeep duties
- Pool cleaning and basic pool maintenance
- Logging and updating maintenance jobs
- Assisting with the overall presentation and functionality of the property
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Basic handyman / maintenance skills
- Basic computer skills for logging jobs and updating maintenance records
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills
