Details: Shape a safe, respectful and high performing workplace at the City and Environment Directorate. As Director, Workplace Resolution and Support, you will lead the delivery of workplace resolution and injury case management across a diverse and complex environment.
You will provide expert advice on complex and sensitive matters, including conflict resolution, injury management and early intervention, while supporting leaders to achieve practical, fair and timely outcomes.
This role oversees key frameworks and programs, including workplace resolution approaches and the Employee Assistance Program, and builds capability in managers to proactively manage people issues. We’re looking for an experienced HR leader with strong judgement, excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead teams and manage complex workplace matters.

Eligibility/Other requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related discipline, or extensive experience in a senior HR role are highly desirable, alongside knowledge of or experience working within Injury management, workplace relations or WHS frameworks.
A background in the public sector, or within similarly complex environments, would also be advantageous.

A merit pool may be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
This position is based at a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
