About the Role
Due to our ongoing growth, we've created a new position for a Distribution Analyst to join our team and support the Customer Operations department. This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic FMCG business and build strong relationships with all our delivery partners.
This is a full-time role based at our Carrum Downs office, working a 9-day fortnight — 5:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with every second Friday off (with potential for a later start down the track).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise driver runs to meet company guidelines
- Modify, re-align and assign driver runs as required to accommodate all contingencies
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational efficiency around deliveries
- Manage day-to-day relationships with delivery partners, including resolving delivery enquiries and complaints
- Liaise with Contact Centre, Production and other departments regarding delivery queries and critical information
- Conduct data analysis and make recommendations to improve process
- Prepare relevant daily, weekly and monthly department reports
About You
- Preferred tertiary qualification in a relevant degree with demonstrated critical thinking
- 2-3 years' experience in a Customer Service oriented role
- Experience in logistics, supply chain or fleet allocation highly desirable but not essential
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage priorities and work autonomously to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work with all levels of the business
