As we continue to scale, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manager to lead the evolution of our talent strategy and recruitment capability.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this newly created leadership role will be responsible for designing and delivering a scalable talent acquisition and onboarding function that supports both our current operations and future growth plans.

As Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manager, you will partner closely with senior leaders across the organisation to develop workforce strategies, strengthen employer branding initiatives and build scalable recruitment frameworks that support sustainable growth.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational delivery. You'll be equally comfortable developing long-term workforce plans, implementing recruitment technology and leading employer branding initiatives as you are supporting critical hiring projects and coaching leaders on recruitment best practice.
Most importantly, you'll help ensure that every candidate and new employee experiences the Fitness Cartel brand in a positive, engaging and professional way from their very first interaction.
- Develop and execute a scalable Talent Acquisition strategy aligned to Fitness Cartel's ambitious growth plans and workforce requirements.
- Partner with leaders to forecast talent needs, build proactive talent pipelines and strengthen workforce planning across the business.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment delivery while ensuring exceptional candidate, hiring manager and stakeholder experiences.
- Enhance Fitness Cartel's employer brand, Employee Value Proposition and talent attraction strategies to position the business as an employer of choice.
- Design and implement engaging onboarding programs that support successful integration, productivity and retention.
- Continuously improve the new starter experience by embedding consistent onboarding, induction and probation frameworks across the organisation.
- Drive recruitment technology, systems, analytics and process improvements to increase efficiency, quality of hire and scalability.
- Lead Talent Acquisition's contribution to HR transformation initiatives while establishing best-practice governance, reporting and vendor management.
- Lead, coach and develop the Talent Acquisition team while fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
- Build recruitment capability across leaders and hiring managers through best-practice attraction, interviewing and selection methodologies.
You are a highly experienced Talent Acquisition professional with a track record of building and scaling recruitment functions within complex, multi-site or high-growth environments.
You bring both strategic capability and operational excellence, with the ability to adapt quickly, navigate change and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment. You understand that great recruitment is about more than filling vacancies—it's about building capability, supporting growth and strengthening organisational culture.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 8+ years' Talent Acquisition experience within multi-site, high-growth or complex organisations
- Proven success developing and executing talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies
- Experience leading end-to-end recruitment functions and building scalable recruitment frameworks
- Strong employer branding and talent attraction experience
- Demonstrated experience implementing or optimising recruitment, onboarding or HR technology platforms
- Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership capability
