About our Role:
WGA are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer experienced in the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. Our project portfolio includes roads, urban development projects (schools, car parks etc), wind and solar farms, resources, water/flood modelling and many more.
The role requires strong project management capability, along with proven experience in drainage design, services relocation, and civil grading and levels to support practical and efficient design outcomes. The engineer will coordinate teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines, and local authority requirements. Strong technical leadership, risk management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions are essential, alongside the ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement.
About you:
• Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering
- 5 – 10 years of post-graduate Consultancy experience on one or more of the following:
- Urban Development projects
- Major bulk earthworks design
- Stormwater design including water quality
- Roads and Carparks
- Local government infrastructure
- Major Transport projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and affinity to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- CPENG accreditation and RPEQ or the ability to obtain RPEQ
