Overview
Oakberry Australia is seeking an experienced Shop Manager to organise and control the day-to-day operations of our store. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the store's performance, its team, its stock and costs, and its service and food safety standards, in a fast-paced retail and quick-service environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run a store end to end while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Team Management
Responsible for supervising and managing all store team members.
Responsibilities
- Organise and control all daily store operations and uphold Oakberry's operating, presentation and service standards.
- Lead the customer experience, oversee product quality and presentation, and resolve customer issues in store.
- Determine in-store stock levels and product availability, and promote products to drive sales.
- Select, supervise, train and develop the store team, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Prepare and manage weekly rosters and approve timesheets to control labour cost while maintaining service.
- Manage stock, receive and reconcile deliveries, conduct stock counts and control COGS and waste.
- Handle daily cash and banking, work to the store budget, and maintain accurate stock and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and work health and safety obligations.
Requirements
- An AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field; or at least three years of relevant retail or store management experience in lieu of the formal qualification.
- At least 12 months of recent full-time experience in a retail or store management role.
- Demonstrated experience leading and rostering a team in a fast-paced retail or quick-service environment.
- Skills in stock control, cost management, POS systems and store reporting.
- Strong customer service, leadership and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of food safety and work health and safety obligations.
