About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Technical Workshop Manager to join our team at Fulcrum Coopers Plains.
In this role, you’ll:
Lead and manage day-to-day workshop operations
Supervise and support a small technical team
Perform fabrication, machining, welding, and workshop-based manufacturing work
Support warranty repairs and technical problem solving
Work closely with Engineering and Product teams on product improvements and prototype development
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workshop organisation
This is a workshop-focused leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys staying hands-on while mentoring others and driving technical excellence.
About You
You could be a great fit if you:
Are trade-qualified in Engineering, Fitting & Turning, or similar
Have strong fabrication, machining, and welding experience (MIG/TIG preferred)
Have experience working with suspension systems, shock absorbers, or automotive manufacturing
Enjoy solving technical challenges and finding practical solutions
Can lead a small team while maintaining a strong hands-on presence
Take pride in quality workmanship and workshop safety
Experience in automotive aftermarket, prototype development, or motorsport environments will be highly regarded.
