We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer focused Pharmacy Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist customers with their healthcare and retail needs, provide excellent customer service and support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Help customers locate over-the-counter medicines, healthcare products and general retail items.
- Process sales accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are well presented and correctly priced.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe store environment.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Receive and unpack deliveries.
- Support pharmacists with general non-dispensing duties as required.
- Follow company policies and maintain customer confidentiality.
- Promote pharmacy services and retail products where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail, pharmacy or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, reliable and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and cash handling skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and Public Holidays if required.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
