Job Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new suppliers, distributors, and partner companies within the Australian market.
- Manage the procurement (sourcing) and sales of laptops, computer peripherals, and IT hardware products.
- Expand international customer resources to drive business growth and create collaborative opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers and clients.
- Conduct market research and analysis to discover new products and supply channels.
- Establish and sustain long-term, stable relationships with clients and suppliers.
Requirements: Mandatory Requirements (Must)
- Deep technical expertise in IT hardware, PC parts, electronic components, and laptops, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the reuse/refurbished market.
- Strong English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) for local and international team collaboration.
- Proven professional experience in IT hardware, PC peripherals, international trade, procurement, sales, or business development.
- Excellent business negotiation, communication, and client development skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications (Want)
- Prior experience working within the used and refurbished PC market.
- Strong familiarity with the Australian used PC distribution market, regional electronics distribution channels, or the domestic supplier ecosystem.
- An established network or connection with suppliers, vendors, or corporate asset disposal channels related to PCs, laptops, and electronic components.
Core Knowledge & Background
- IT Hardware Expertise: In-depth knowledge of laptops, desktop computers, and internal/external components (including motherboards, RAM, SSDs, HDDs, LCD panels, batteries, adapters, and other spare parts).
- Reuse & Trade Experience: Hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement, sales, or trading of used and refurbished laptops, computer hardware, and electronic components.
- Market Understanding: Clear comprehension of the electronics distribution market structure, including suppliers, distributors, wholesalers, and component traders.
- Vendor Network: Existing relationships with vendors, distributors, refurbishers, exporters, or trading companies dealing in laptops, laptop parts, and IT hardware products will be highly preferred.
- International Trade Operations: Knowledge of international trading practices, supplier negotiations, quality assessment, and logistics related to computer hardware and electronic components.
- Sourcing Capability: Ability to independently identify new sourcing opportunities and develop long-term supplier partnerships within the electronics and computer hardware industry.
Pay: $15,000.00 – $20,000.00 per year
