About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Female Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to a female participant in Glenwood.
This is a targeted opportunity for someone who is confident working with complex care needs and is comfortable providing hands-on personal support.
About the role
You will support the participant with day-to-day personal care and complex support needs, including:
- PEG feeding
- Bathing and personal care
- Safe lifting, transfers and manual handling
- Supporting daily routines and activities
- Providing respectful, patient and person-centred care
- Following individual support and care plans
- Maintaining a safe and positive environment
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in disability or complex support care
- Is confident and competent with PEG feeding
- Has experience with personal care, bathing and manual handling
- Is physically capable of assisting with lifting and transfers
- Is reliable, patient, caring and respectful
- Can work independently while following established care procedures
- Is comfortable supporting a participant with complex medical and disability needs
- Is committed to maintaining dignity, choice and privacy
