About the Role
JM Flooring Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Flooring Installer to join our growing team.
This is a full-time position working on residential flooring projects across the Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Southern Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Install hybrid, laminate, engineered timber and solid hardwood flooring systems.
- Install floating and direct-stick flooring systems.
- Carry out subfloor preparation, including concrete grinding and floor levelling.
- Install flooring to staircases, including stair nosings.
- Install skirting boards and finishing trims.
- Measure, cut and fit flooring materials accurately.
- Complete flooring installations to a high standard.
- Perform flooring repairs and replacements when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite.
- Follow all Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- Experience installing hybrid, laminate, engineered timber and solid hardwood flooring.
- Experience with floating and direct-stick flooring systems.
- Experience in subfloor preparation, including concrete grinding and floor levelling.
- Experience installing flooring to staircases, stair nosings and skirting boards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
- Current Australian White Card.
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Willingness to travel to job sites across the Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Southern Brisbane.
- 1 Year minimum experience and qualification preferred
