J.S Grey Kindergarten is a not-for-profit sessional kindergarten offering both three and four year old kindergarten programs. A committee of management made up of current parents and carers oversees the kindergarten and supports our educator teams to provide high quality education and care during school terms. A core part of our philosophy is encouraging children to explore the outdoors and connect with nature and we offer bush kindergarten sessions in two of our four kindergarten groups. We strive to incorporate bush kinder/nature play elements in our on-site kindergarten programs also. We are looking for a passionate and committed early childhood educator with a diploma qualification to work in our four year old bush kindergarten group. While we would love to see applications from those who are experienced in the sector we also welcome applications from those who are earlier in their career. The days and hours of this role are: Monday 8:15am to 1:30pm Wednesday 8:15am to 1:45pm Friday 8:15am to 1:30pm This role has 15 hours contact time and 3.75 hours of non-contact time (totalling 18.75 hours). Non contact hours can be in the afternoon after sessions or on Tuesday mornings (this is when the team plans together). This role requires a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and must be recognised as an appropriate and approved qualification nationally.
