Casual Position | SCHADS Award + Super | Paid Travel Time + Mileage Allowance

Ardor Care is a registered NDIS provider looking for a reliable and experienced male Disability Support Worker to provide regular support to a participant in the O’Reilly’s / Lamington National Park area.
This role requires travel to the participant's location. Please only apply if you are comfortable travelling for shifts. Travel time will be paid, along with a mileage allowance.
The role will primarily involve 7-hour shifts from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, with occasional sleepover shifts also required.
We are looking for applicants with regular availability on:
- Wednesday
- Friday
- Saturday
- Sunday
You do not necessarily need to be available every one of these days, but please clearly state your regular availability when applying.
About the Role
Supports may include:
- Community access and outings
- Shopping and appointments
- Social activities and companionship
- In-home support and assistance with everyday activities
- Domestic assistance
- Supporting the participant to maintain independence and choice
- Driving and transport in the community
- Completing progress notes and required documentation
- Communicating with the participant, family and Ardor Care team
What We're Looking For
- Calm, patient and respectful approach
- Reliable and able to commit to regular shifts
- Comfortable travelling to the O’Reilly’s / Lamington area
- Confident working independently
- Good communication skills
- Able to build a positive and genuine connection with the participant
- Previous disability or community support experience
- Confident and safe driver
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Right to work in Australia
- Blue Card where required
