Join our team as an Account Resolution Officer

This role offers the opportunity to work with customers to achieve fair and sustainable solutions while ensuring compliance with legislation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting outstanding debts in line with legislation, policies, procedures and KPIs.
- Working proactively with customers to resolve accounts through payment plans, hardship assessments and other recovery actions.
- Managing recovery processes, including sale or transfer of land where required.
- Preparing, processing and reconciling legal, court and recovery-related fees.
- Responding to customer enquiries and managing complex or sensitive correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate customer and financial records within corporate systems.
- Supporting team operations, sharing knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and experience:
- Strong customer service skills, with a professional and confident communication style.
- Proven ability to negotiate and resolve sensitive or complex debtor matters.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to apply sound judgement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a range of audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and corporate systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in revenue collection or debt recovery is desirable but not essential.
