Solar Battery Group is looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our growing Supply Chain team. About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our inventory and supply chain systems, coordinating stocktakes, analysing inventory performance, and producing meaningful reporting that supports purchasing, operations, and business planning.
Working closely with our warehouse, logistics, and purchasing teams, you'll help ensure inventory accuracy across the business while identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen supply chain performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating and managing regular stocktakes across multiple warehouse locations
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring system data integrity
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Monitoring stock levels and identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory
- Analysing inventory and supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities
- Producing reports and dashboards that support operational decision-making
- Assisting with inventory planning and inventory control initiatives
- Supporting audits, compliance activities, and process improvements
- Working collaboratively across Supply Chain and Operations to improve efficiency
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys working with data, thrives on accuracy, and has a natural ability to identify problems before they become bigger issues.
You'll also bring:
- Previous experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Inventory Analysis, or a similar analytical role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Experience coordinating stocktakes and inventory reconciliation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting reporting to stakeholders
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset
