About the role:
We are seeking a reliable Camp Chef to join a small team servicing regional campsites. This role is hands‑on and varied, involving meal preparation, cleaning, general camp support, and providing day‑to‑day guidance to other general hands.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and cook meals in line with approved menus and dietary requirement

Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards

Assist with cleaning, food service, and general camp duties as required

Provide leadership and support to general hands

Perform relief duties and assist across camp services

Drive staff and transport products between sites as required

Oversee staff and guest accommodation standards

Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
- Cert III in commercial cookery (desirable) or relevant qualification

Previous experience in FIFO or DIDO (is required)
Selection Criteria:
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious meals.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Strong written English skills

National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
