Greenlight is an Environmental and Occupational Hygiene consultancy operating across Melbourne, covering asbestos and hazardous materials assessments, occupational hygiene & workplace safety.
Due to continued demand for our services, Greenlight is seeking an experienced full-time Asbestos and Hazardous Materials Consultant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct asbestos and hazardous materials audits across various building types
- Review asbestos and hazardous materials reports to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
- Provide oversight of asbestos removal projects, monitoring work quality and safety
- Undertake asbestos air monitoring
- Carry out asbestos clearance inspections

- Work within a team to deliver a range of services, while independently managing field assignments
- Communicate with clients and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
- Adapt to new technologies, methods, and services as they are introduced
- Be flexible with working hours (some early starts, weekends, or regional travel required)

Minimum Requirements
- Licensed Asbestos Assessor or relevant Asbestos Qualifications
- Full C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel throughout Melbourne and occasionally to regional or interstate sites
A tertiary qualification in Science, Environmental Engineering or Occupational Hygiene will be highly regarded, but is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with strong industry experience who may not hold a degree.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
