Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Day & Infusion Centre team at St George Private Hospital on a Permanent Full-Time/part-time basis.
Our Day Oncology & Infusion Centre is looking for nurses with background experience in oncology. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will be responsible for the administration of chemotherapy and supportive treatment, education of treatment side effects and the effective strategies for the management of these side effects.
The Oncology Day & Infusion Centre is open Monday-Friday 0830-1700
About You

You will also demonstrate:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (essential).

Minimum three (3) years in a hospital based postgraduate role

Previous demonstrated experience in oncology

Understanding of cytotoxic medication

Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment

Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
-
Highly developed interpersonal communication skills
-
Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities

Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relations with others.
