Housekeeper – Casual Position

About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential part in ensuring our guests enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay. Your work directly contributes to the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience at our motel.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
- Making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
- Cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining room hygiene
- Reporting maintenance issues or room damage promptly
- Maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as hallways, reception areas, and outdoor spaces
- Ensuring housekeeping supplies are stocked and organised
- Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with general motel operations when required
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (motel/hotel experience highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Good time‑management skills and the ability to work efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Availability for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
