Salary: $90,000 + Super
Roster: Monday to Friday | 10:30am - 7:00pm (School Terms)

Cater Care is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at one of Western Australia's prestigious schools. You'll oversee a dedicated team delivering fresh, nutritious meals to boarding house students while supporting a variety of school functions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of chefs, kitchen hands, and catering assistants
- Create exciting menus for daily meals, events, and special functions
- Cook and deliver fresh, delicious meals that fuel students and staff
- Manage stock, ordering, and food cost control
- Champion food safety and hygiene standards across the kitchen
- Oversee service during the dinner shift, working alongside another chef to ensure everything runs smoothly until the end of service
Skills and Experiences:
About You
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Experience in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Previous experience in education catering (essential), with bulk catering and function experience
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
- Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills with a collaborative approach
