We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scheduler to support major government, Defence and national security pursuits. Working within a high-performing Sales and Pursuit team, you will develop credible, cost-effective and executable delivery plans that strengthen complex bids and proposals.
You will collaborate with pursuit executives, solution architects, delivery teams, workforce planners and technology partners to ensure proposed schedules, resources, dependencies and transition activities are realistic and able to withstand detailed customer scrutiny.

Develop integrated implementation schedules, transition plans, mobilisation roadmaps and delivery timelines for major ICT bids.

Translate customer and contractual requirements into practical, achievable delivery plans.

Plan activities covering transition-in, service commencement, technology implementation, workforce onboarding, transformation and transition-out.

Build workforce mobilisation plans, including resource demand, skills, security-clearance requirements and staffing ramp-up profiles.

Identify milestones, dependencies, assumptions, constraints, risks and critical-path activities.

Conduct schedule analysis and scenario planning to validate proposed timelines.

Challenge unrealistic delivery dates, staffing assumptions and transition approaches.

Contribute Gantt charts, resource profiles, governance frameworks and implementation plans to proposal responses.

Participate in solution workshops, bid reviews, customer presentations and clarification sessions.

Manage planning activities across multiple concurrent pursuits.

At least seven years’ experience in project management, program scheduling, implementation planning or PMO roles.

Proven experience developing integrated schedules and implementation plans for large ICT, Defence or government programs.

Experience supporting bids, tenders, proposals or capture activities.

Strong knowledge of project scheduling methods and tools.

Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or an equivalent scheduling platform.

Experience developing workforce mobilisation and resource plans.

Strong capability in analysing complex dependencies, risks, assumptions and constraints.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, writing and presentation skills.

The confidence to present delivery approaches and schedule insights to senior executives and governance boards.

Experience supporting Defence, the National Intelligence Community or Australian Government clients.

Exposure to managed services, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, systems integration or complex ICT programs.

Understanding of Commonwealth procurement and tender processes.

Experience with transition-in and transition-out planning.
