About the Role
We are seeking a
Team Leader to join our growing Queensland team in a permanent full-time position. We are also open to applications from clinicians seeking a part-time arrangement.
Based in Southeast Queensland, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader or a clinician ready to take the next step into leadership.
As Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting, developing, and leading a multidisciplinary team of therapists while ensuring exceptional outcomes for participants, families, and stakeholders. You will act as the link between clinical service delivery and operational performance, helping your team thrive while maintaining a strong focus on quality, culture, and participant outcomes.
This role includes a reduced clinical caseload, allowing you to remain connected to practice while dedicating time to leadership, team support, and operational responsibilities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team of clinicians
- Building a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and problem-solving support
- Conducting regular 1:1 meetings, development conversations, and team meetings
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
- Monitoring team utilisation, caseload allocation, and operational performance
- Managing leave planning and workforce coordination
- Assisting with service complaints, incidents, and operational escalations
- Collaborating with Clinical Supervisors and operational leaders to support clinician development
- Maintaining a reduced clinical caseload delivering high-quality, evidence-based service
What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from clinicians who are passionate about supporting others and creating positive team environments.
You will bring:
- A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology, Physiotherapy
- Relevant professional registration or membership
- Experience working within community, disability, or NDIS environments
- Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Previous leadership, mentoring, supervision, or coaching experience, or a strong desire to step into your first leadership role
- A commitment to delivering outstanding participant outcomes and supporting team success
