Working with local governments, schools, landscape architects, childcare providers, builders and commercial clients, we deliver projects ranging from small park upgrades to large-scale public infrastructure developments.
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Tender & Bid Coordinator to take ownership of our tendering process and help secure new opportunities across the government and private sectors.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for identifying, coordinating and submitting high-quality tender responses while ensuring compliance with client requirements and submission deadlines.
This is a hands-on role that requires exceptional organisation, attention to detail and experience navigating government procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor tender portals including Tenders WA, EstimateOne, TenderLink, BidContender, VendorPanel and other relevant procurement platforms.
- Identify suitable tender, RFT, RFQ, RFI and EOI opportunities.
- Review tender documentation and assess project requirements.
- Coordinate information from internal departments including sales, estimating, design, manufacturing and operations.
- Prepare professional, compliant and compelling tender submissions.
- Develop pricing schedules, compliance matrices and supporting documentation.
- Maintain capability statements, project profiles, CVs and tender libraries.
- Manage submission deadlines and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Liaise with councils, government agencies, contractors and consultants during the tender process.
- Track tender outcomes and maintain an opportunity pipeline.
- Assist with post-award documentation, contracts and project handovers.
About You
You will have previous experience preparing successful tender submissions within the construction, manufacturing, engineering, civil, landscaping or infrastructure industries.
You will also possess:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in tender or bid coordination.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes.
- Experience preparing RFTs, RFQs, RFIs and EOIs.
- Experience using procurement platforms such as Tenders WA, EstimateOne, TenderLink, BidContender and VendorPanel.
- Excellent written communication and document preparation skills.
- High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focused attitude.
