We are seeking a positive, service-oriented individual with substantial administration experience and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
To be successful and thrive in this role you will have the following skills
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced administrative environment, ideally within legal or professional services
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Business will be highly regarded.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Sound problem-solving capability and a commitment to continuous improvement
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Your role
Working closely with all members of the People & Development (P&D) team, the People Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of P&D services and administrative support.
In this varied and fast-paced role, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Learning & Development (L&D) Manager with the coordination of training sessions and events, including booking meeting rooms, organising catering, and managing attendance records
- Monitoring and responding to L&D enquiries, including the management and organisation of the L&D mailbox
- Supporting Early Careers processes, including the preparation of contracts and coordination of police checks, as well as maintaining accurate employee documentation and assisting with interviews and events coordination
- Preparing high-quality reports on both a regular and ad hoc basis
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of P&D events and initiatives
- Processing invoices and managing expenses through Chrome River
- Providing administrative support to the Chief People Officer and the broader People & Development team
- Contributing to HR projects, initiatives, and team functions as required
