Receiving Officer | Forklift Operator
$38.00 per hour + penalties + overtime
We are currently seeking an experienced Receiving Officer to join a busy steel processing and manufacturing facility based in Carole Park.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in warehousing, logistics, steel fabrication, manufacturing, or goods receiving who enjoys a hands-on position with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming steel products
- Check delivery dockets and purchase orders against goods received
- Identify product damage, rust, paint contamination, and galvanizing suitability
- Measure and verify product descriptions and quantities
- Attach identification tags and special instructions
- Enter receiving information into company systems
- Report damaged or non-conforming products
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Assist customers and respond to receiving enquiries
- Maintain a safe and organised work area
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or steel processing
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read delivery dockets and receiving documentation
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Highly Regarded
- Forklift licence (LF)
- Experience handling steel products
- Manufacturing or fabrication industry experience
- Experience performing quality inspections
