🚀 Platform Support Engineer
Are you a problem-solver with a love for code, SQL, and untangling complex systems? We’re looking for a
Platform Support Engineer to own Level 2 support for this proprietary platform. You’ll troubleshoot, automate, and improve processes while collaborating across product, dev, and operations teams—making a real impact every day.
What You’ll Do:
- Dive into complex platform, database, and integration issues, delivering smart, auditable solutions.
- Build scripts and internal tools to make support faster, smarter, and more efficient.
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to escalate, validate, and resolve issues.
- Document processes, create runbooks, and expand our internal knowledge base.
- Engage with customers and internal teams with clear, professional communication.
What You Bring:
- Strong software engineering or platform support experience.
- Expert SQL skills and the ability to debug, optimise, and analyse queries.
- Comfortable reading code (Java ideally, but could consider Python) and working with APIs.
- Analytical, methodical, and always curious about how systems work end-to-end.
- Excellent communicator with a customer-first mindset.
Bonus Points For:
- Exposure to AWS, Docker, microservices, or modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
- Experience in fintech, regulated environments, or ITIL frameworks.
Hybrid envoronment, 2 days per week in sydney CBD office!
