Procurement Contract Specialist | 14-month fixed-term contract | Docklands-based
The Role
If you are ready to bring your contract management expertise to one of Australia's most iconic food companies, we want to hear from you. As our Procurement Contract Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting procurement governance and leading contract management activities across our Logistics function, working with suppliers across freight and warehousing. You'll join a collaborative team environment where you'll gain exposure to complex commercial arrangements, key strategic suppliers and senior stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
Support strategic sourcing by preparing tender and contract documentation, contributing to procurement planning, and ensuring logistics contracts align with business, sustainability and compliance objectives
Draft, review and coordinate supplier agreements, partnering with stakeholders, suppliers and legal teams to support negotiations, execution and ongoing contract management
Monitor supplier performance, maintain accreditations, conduct evaluations and identify opportunities to improve contract effectiveness, consistency and supplier outcomes
Manage contract governance, including approvals, reporting, audit compliance, records management and accurate system data maintenance
Analyse procurement and supplier data, prepare reports and insights, support risk mitigation and build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver commercial value
About You
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to analyse risk, supplier performance, market trends and cost drivers to support procurement decisions.
Proven ability to manage complexity, interpret data and deliver practical solutions balancing commercial, operational and stakeholder needs.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver effective outcomes across diverse audiences.
Demonstrated commercial acumen, including contract drafting, data analysis and identifying opportunities to improve value, reduce risk and control costs.
Proficient in procurement systems, Microsoft Office and contract management platforms (ideally GEP), with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
